NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO as follows: 1. Support the alignment and funding for extension of BART to San Francisco International Airport as envisioned in Alignment Alternative VI, and funding Option B; and 2. Urge the City and County of San Francisco and its Airports Commission, the San Mateo County Transit District, and the Bay Area Rapid Transit District to: a. Approve the alignment and funding for extension of BART which proceeds directly into San Francisco International Airport, and results in a station inside the Airport terminal, as presently described in Extension Alternative VI; and b. Obtain funding for an internal Airport alignment as outlined in Extension Alternative VI-B, which includes use of the Airport's $120 million traffic mitigation commitment for development of a multi-modal transit station inside the Airport terminal, and provides for full funding of the extension, and all associated significant impacts, by San Francisco International Airport, the San Mateo County Transit District, and the federal government consistent with attached Table C, Option B. 2 I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the city Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 27th day of April , 1994 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Draoo, Roberta Cerri Teolia, Robert Yee and Mayor Joseph A.
