CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING STORMWATER MANAGEMENT
SERVICE CHARGES TO PROVIDE REVENUE FOR THE
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1994-1995
WHEREAS, Ordinance #1130-93 was adopted June 23, 1993 to
enable the City to levy charges for the local portion of the San
Mateo County Stormwater Management Program; and
WHEREAS, notices were published and a public hearing is now
required for enactment of the subject stormwater fees; and
WHEREAS, funding for the County-wide program will be provided
through fees levied by the Flood Control District; and
WHEREAS, funding for the local program requires $391,604 and
will be provided from the fees collected under a strategy based on
a per parcel charge.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco as follows:
A public hearing has been appropriately noticed and
conducted.
The Council hereby adopts, by a four-fifth (4/5) vote,
the following Stormwater Management Service charges for
fiscal year 1994-1995.
SinGle Family and Duplex
Residential Units (including
one or two residential units
per parcel; not including
individual trailer units in
trailer parks)
$20.20 per parcel
Multi-Family Residential and
Trailer Park (all residential
uses other than single family
and duplex)
$31.20 per parcel
Commercial/Industrial (all
non-residential uses,
including unimproved lots)
$53.20 per parcel
Parcels having an assessed valuation of less than $10,000 are
exempt from paying a service charge.
3. The fees set forth herein shall be made a part of the
Master Fee Schedule.
4. The "Report of Stormwater Management Services Charges for
1994-1995", filed with the city Clerk in accordance with Chapter
14.04 of the Municipal Code, as submitted by the Director of
Finance, and attached hereto as Exhibit "A", is hereby adopted, and
the charges will be assessed on the City tax rolls and collected
with the regular municipal taxes. Pursuant to Chapter 14.04 of the
Municipal Code, the charges shall constitute a lien upon the
respective parcels of real property in the City of South San
Francisco.
5. The City Clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to
be published within fifteen (15) days after passage in the
Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published in
the City of South San Francisco, and shall further certify to the
County Tax Collector or Auditor that the report was adopted by the
Council.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a special meeting held on the 22nd day of
July , 1994 by the following vote:

REPORT OF STORMWATER MANAGEMENT SERVICES CHARGES FOR 1994-95
IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 14.04 OF
THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE
In accordance with chapter 14.134 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code, the following
report is submitted. This report describes thc procedure for charging those parcels of real
property which receive benefits of stormwater system services, and the amount of the nnnRal
charge which will be imposed against each parcel for fiscal year 1994-95.

This report refers to and incorporates by reference the repoR entitled 'Notice of Proposed
Charges for 1994 -95, City of South San Francisco Stormwater Managemem Services Charges"
prepared by and on file in the Office of the Public Works D~ector. That report summarizes the
1994 - 95 charges that will be proposed to the City Council on July 13, 1994. Upon adoption
of the proposed charges, or amendments thereto, a report entitled 'City of South San Francisco
Stormwater System Ch,xrges', prepared by Engineering Data Services, Los Altos, California will
be completed; it will de.scribe the amount of annual charge imposed against each parcel, by
assessor's parcel number, for fiscal year 1994-95. AH of these documents, including this report,
shah be filed with the county tax collector or auditor. Accompanying the filing of this report
shall be the Clerk's endorsement that the report has been duly adopted~_oun~, '.
