HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 8-1994 RESOLUTION NO. 8-94 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION INCREASING THE CDBG GRANT AMOUNT PREVIOUSLY AWARDED TO FOWLER BUILDING WHEREAS, the City Council previously awarded a $5,000 C.D.B.G. Grant and a $50,000 Matching C.D.B.G. Grant to the Fowler Building; and WHEREAS, the City also approved a $25,000 loan at zero (0%) percent interest in Resolution No. 126-93; and WHEREAS, the American Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements necessitated the redesign of the entryway, involving major demolition and new construction at a cost of $36,000 above the originally approved project budget; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco as follows: 1. Additional funds are required to meet ADA code requirements for the new entryway of the Fowler Building, which increases the City's portion of the project budget by $15,000. 2. A previous loan amount of $25,000 for the Fowler building, 262 Grand Avenue awarded by Resolution No. 126-93 is hereby increased by $15,000 to a total of $40,000 at zero (0%) percent interest amortized over ten (10) years. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a r~g,~]~r meeting held on the 26th day of January , 1994 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Drago, John R.
