CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION FIXING A SPECIAL
PROPERTY TAX FOR FISCAL YEAR 1993-94
WHEREAS, the voters of the City of South San Francisco on
March 7, 1978, approved Proposition P which authorized the City
Council to levy a special property tax not to exceed a maximum
annual rate of one and one quarter cents ($0.0125) per One
Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of full cash value on all taxable
property within the City, in addition to the authorized maximum
annual property tax rate, for the purpose of acquiring, using and
making other payments for improvements of real property to be
used for police, fire, and other municipal purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco that:
1. In addition to the authorized maximum annual property tax
rate, the Council does hereby fix a special property tax for
fiscal year 1993-94 at Twelve Hundredths Cents ($0.0012) upon
each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of full cash value of all
property enumerated and assessed as being in the City of South
San Francisco, including real, personal, mixed and other property
of whatever nature taxable by the City.
2. The City Clerk shall forward a certified copy of this
resolution to the County Auditor so that the auditor may compute
and enter in the assessment book the special tax rate.
3. The taxes so levied shall be collected as provided by law.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 23rd day
of June , 1993 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, John R. Penna,
Robert Yee, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia
