HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 112-1997 (2)RESOLUTION NO. 112-92 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO'S SUPPORT IN IMPLEMENTING IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SYSTEM ALONG EL CAMINO REAL FROM MILLBRAE TO DALY CITY WHEREAS, Nine Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($960,000.00) for the E1 Camino Signal Timing project has been programmed in the 1993 Transportation Improvement Program by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission; and WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco, Daly City, San Bruno, Millbrae and the Town of Colma are project participants; and WHEREAS, the city of South San Francisco, by an Agreement with the above jurisdictions, will be the designated lead agency in the project; and WHEREAS, a prerequisite for inclusion in the 1993 Transportation Improvement Program is the adopting of a local resolution saying that the project will be built as described above. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, as lead agency for the E1 Camino Signal Timing project, by adopting this resolution of intent does hereby state that: · The Project will be built as described above; and The City of South San Francisco understands that the STP/CMAQ funding is fixed at $758,000; and the balance of the total project costs will be provided by State TSM funds, and any cost increases cannot be expected to be funded with STP/CMAQ or TSM funds. I kereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 9th day of Seotem)er , 1992 by the following vote. AYES: Councilmembers Jack Draqo, Joseph A. Fernekes, Roberta Cerri Teqlia, Robert Yee, and Mavor John R. Penna NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None
