RESOLUTION NO. 132-92
~UNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
AGREEMENT FOR FINAL DESIGN AND CALLING
BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION WORK ON THE
APPIAN WAY RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, AND
APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT 93-3 TO THE
1992-1993 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 75-92 adopted July 8,
1992, tke City Council approved the Capital Improvement Program
which included a design budget for the Appian Way Project; and
WHEREAS, $20,000 for the Preliminary Design was approved and
McKay & ~omps Engineers was selected to perform the Preliminary
Design for the amount of $16,000; and
WHEREAS, the preliminary design work has been completed and
the project is ready to proceed to the next step.
NOWi THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city
of South San Francisco, that:
1. iThe City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate the
terms and execute an agreement between McKay & Somps Engineers and
the City of South San Francisco for the final design work on Appian
Way in an amount not to exceed $25,000.

The Capital Improvement Budget is hereby amended as
(a)
Transfer $114,000 of Capital Improvement Program
funds from the "City Hall and Grand Avenue Library
Drainage" and "City Hall Exterior Painting"
projects to the Appian Way Reconstruction Project.
(b)
$108,000 to be received in Developer Revenue is
appropriated for the Appian Way Reconstruction
Project.
The Council hereby directs Staff to call for bids for the
ion of the Appian Way Reconstruction Project.
(d)
The total program appropriation for the Appian Way
Project is now $242,000.
4. The Council hereby directs Staff to call for bids for the
construction of the Appian Way Reconstruction Project.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 14th day of
0ct0ber , 1992 by the following vote:
