A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE VACATION
AND ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF THE
INTERSECTION AT POINT SAN BRUNO BLVD.
AND GRANDVIEW AVENUE
WHEREAS, this City Council having declared its intention to abandon
and vacate a portion of the intersection at Point San Bruno Boulevard and
Gandview Avenue, being within the City of South San Francisco,
California, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by reference
made a part thereof, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9,
(Section 8300 et seq.) of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, and the City Council having herefore adopted Resolution No. -
91-91 declaring its intention to abandon and vacate the subject portion
of the intersection, notice thereof having been given in all respects for
the period of time and in the manner required by law, and the matter of
abandonment and vacation having been heard before the City Council at its
regular meeting at the time and place fixed therefor in the Resolution of
__Intention, and the City Council having heard the protests and objections
)f all persons so protesting or objecting, and having found that the
lerein described portion of the intersection without reservation is
annecessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco, California as follows:
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that the portion of the intersection located at
Point San Bruno Boulevard and Grandview Avenue, described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein, be, and the same is
hereby abandoned and vacated, without reservation.
A map of the portion of the intersection at Point San Bruno
Boulevard and San Bruno Avenue subject to vacation and abandonment by
this Order is on file in the Office of the City Clerk of South San
Francisco, California, and the map is hereby referred to for more
particulars.
The abandonment contemplated by this resolution relates exclusively
to street use. Any existing public utility easements shall remain in
full force and effect and are hereby retained.
The City Clerk is hereby instructed to record this Resolution of
~Tacation with the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo, California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
?rancisco at a regular meeting held on the llth day of
September , 1991, by the following vote:
