Home My WebLink AboutReso 139-1991RESOLUTION NO. 139-91 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS AND DECLARING RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ON NOVEMBER 5, 1991 WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election was held in and throughout the City of South San Francisco on the 5th day of November 1991, pursuant to Resolution No. 79-91, for the election of two members of the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk has duly presented to the City Council of the City of South San Francisco all the returns of the votes cast at said General Municipal Election pursuant to Elections Code Sections 17088 and 23306, and WHEREAS, said City Council has inspected and examined all said returns; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of said City that said Council finds as follows: 1. That there were twenty one thousand six hundred twenty three (21,623) registered voters in the City of South San Francisco and that seven thousand five hundred and four (7,504) votes were cast in the City of South San Francisco; 2. That the names of persons voted for as submitted at said General Municipal Election are as follows: (a) As regularly-nominated candidates: Andrew "Andy" Estigoy, Technical/Budget Analyst Councilmember Joe Fernekes, Chief Financial Officer " Roberta Cerri Teglia, City Councilwoman " Eloise L. Kee, Educator " Lawrence Ng, Accountant " Lou Dell'Angela, Planning & Environmental Consultant " Michael Noel DeZordo, Urban Design Consultant " (b) As write-in candidates: None. RESULTS OF SAID GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION 3. CANDIDATES (a) That the record of the votes cast at said General Municipal Election in favor of said candidates as shown by the official count at each of the several precincts established throughout said City by said City Council for the purpose of conducting said Election is as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, the same being a tabulation of the votes by precincts. (b) That the votes cast at said General Municipal Election in favor of said candidates for the Office of City Councilmember by absentee ballot as shown by the official count, and included in the totals set forth in Exhibit "A", are as follows: -1- favor of said candidates for the Office of City Councilmember by absentee ballot as shown by the official count, and included in the totals set forth in Exhibit "A", are as follows: Andrew "Andy" Estigoy Joe Fernekes Roberta Cerri Teglia Eloise L. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of said City shall, and she is hereby ordered to, issue Certificates of Election as follows: to Roberta Cerri Teglia and Joe Fernekes as members of the City Council. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 27th day of November , 1991, by the following vote: AYES, NOES, ABSTAIN, ABSENT, Councilmembers Richard A.
