HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 112-1990 RESOLUTION NO. 112-90 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR WINSTON MANOR PARKS III & V REHABILITATION PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to previous authorization and published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 27th day of June, 1990, for the WINSTON MANOR PARKS III & V REHABILITATION PROJECT, PROJECT NO. PB-90-1. WHEREAS, bids were received for the provision of equipment but not for the installation of equipment or rehabilitation of landscaping. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, that: 1. The Council hereby awards the contract for equipment purchase to the lowest responsible bidder. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a written contract with the successful bidder, Husband and Associates, Inc., Pleasanton in the amount of Twenty Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty Two Dollars ($29,962.00). 3. The Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids. 4. The Council acknowledges no bids were received for the installation of equipment and landscape rehabilitation and authorizes readvertising. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 8th day of August , 1990 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Drano, Gus Nicolopulos, Roberta Cerri Teglia, and Mayor Richard A. Haffey NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: Councilmember John R. Penna
