A RESOLUTION DIRECTING AUTOMATIC
APPEAL FROM PLANNING COMMISSION
DETERMINATIONS ON LAND USE WITHIN
THE EL CAMINO CORRIDOR
WHEREAS, the area within the E1Camino Corridor, as delineated on the plat
attached hereto as Exhibit "A", is a sensitive area for development which is
undergoi g land use studies; and
WHEREAS, in order to maintain consistent policy, preserve status as may be
suitable pending the study, and for the general welfare it is deemed
appropriate that this City Council review by appeal all land use
determinations of the Planning Commission.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Franciscoithat:
1. PUrsuant to Section 20.90.040(a) of the South San Francisco Municipal
Code, thi~ 'City Council orders that all determinations of the Planning
Commission on land use matters within the E1Camino Corridor be reviewed.
2. That this resolution is tantamount to an appeal within the fifteen day
period from a determination of the Planning Commission on 'land use matters
within th~ E1Camino Corridor and shall be a standing order until December 31,
1991, unless sooner repealed.

I here~y certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted bY the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 12th day of June , 1991 by the following vote:
