CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1990-91 APPROPRIATION
LIMIT FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PURSUANT
TQ ARTICLE XIIIB OF THE CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION
WHEREAS, Article XIIIB of the California Constitution states that all state
and local government budgets are limited to a formula based upon the 1978-79
budget, plus adjustments for cost of living and population changes and
specific exceptions for service charges, federal and state grants, reserve
funds and so on; and
WHEREAS, Division 9 of Title i of the Government Code (commencing with
Section 7900) implements Article XIIIB of the California Constitution; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the law the City of South San Francisco has
prepared documentation establishing its 1990-91 appropriation limit and has
made this documentation available to the public for more than fifteen days;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that it finds:

For 1990-91 the City's appropriation limit is $40,328,875.
The Adopted Budget for 1990-91 includes $31,923,192 in appropriations
which are subject to the limit, and estimated proceeds of taxes of
$24,680,921.
For 1990-91 the City of South San Francisco is within the limits of
Article XIIIB of the California Constitution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 27th day of June
