CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A GRADING
PERMIT TO CABOT, CABOT AND FORBES
BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that on the application of Cabot, Cabot and
Forbes and the report and recommendation thereon set forth
in the Director of Public Works' Inter-Office Memorandum
dated February 14, 1964, the following is ordered:
1. A Grading Permit be issued to Cabot, Cabot and Forbes,
the applicant herein, to fill and grade an area shown as
tide lots on the map entitled "Map to accompany application
for Grading Permit, lands of Cabot, Cabot and Forbes, dated
February 7, 1964", said tide lot area being that cross-hatched
area on said map.
2. The Grading and Fill Permit require that applicant
not place any fill in said area until applicant has filed
with the Director of Public Works the reports and data set
forth in the Director of Public Works' Inter-Office Memorandum
dated February 14, 1964, to the City Council, the subject of
which is "Grading Permit - Lands of Cabot, Cabot and Forbes".
3. Upon the filing of said reports and data required by
Paragraph 2 of this Resolution, the Director of Public Works
make a supplemental report and recommendation thereon to the
City Council for the purpose of this Council issuing a supple-
mental Permit specifying therein the time during which said
area may be filled and graded and any further conditions re-
quired by City ordinances and/or to serve the health, safety
and general welfare of the City of South San Francisco.
4. Said Permit shall contain provisions indemnifying
and holding the City, its elective officials, officers and
employees harmless from claims and further requiring the con-
duct of the grading work in a manner that will not injure
the property in the vicinity of the land to be graded.
5. The City Clerk shall collect the cost of defraying
the expense of the examination and the report by the Director
of Public Works in the sum of Ten and no/lO0
Dollars ($ 10.OO ) prior to issuance of the Permit.
6. The Director of Public Works shall ascertain by in-
spection that said grading and filling has been performed in
accordance with this Permit and upon its completion shall file
with the City Clerk a report stating the results of said in-
spection and certifying that the grading has been performed
in accordance with the Permit.
