A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO MAKE CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 3
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of South San Francisco,
California, that the public interest, convenience and necessity
require~ and that it is the intention of this Council to make changes
and modifications in the work proposed to be done pursuant to Resolu-
tion of Intention No. 2671 adopted by this Council on July 21, 1958,
by deleting or acquiring or constructing the work and improvements
and acquiring easements necessary therefor~ as follows:
Change and modify the work to be done as described in
the Resolution of Intention and in the Engineer's Report, as
follows:
(a) Delete the work proposed to be done on Christenson
Avenue for its full length.
(b) The acquisition of a strip of land 60 feet wide
from about the center of the southeast line of Eccles Avenue,
thence southeasterly 269.96 feet and thence southeasterly as
a cul-de-sac 170 feet; and the improving of same by grading
and the construction therein of base and surface pavement,
curbs and gutters, sidewalk on the northeasterly side, and
the installation therein of a sanitary sewer main, with man-
holes and appurtenances~ to connect with an existing City
sewer line, a water main with hydrant, valves, fittings and
appurtenances, a storm drain pipe with catch basins in the
cul-de-sac portion thereof, a fire alarm box with underground
conduit, cable and appurtenances, and a street lighting
electrolier with luminaires, underground conduit, cable and
appurtenances.
(c) The acquisition of an easement 10 feet wide from
the center of the southeast end of Eccles Court, thence south-
easterly about 170 feet, and thence northwesterly and south-
easterly to an existing storm drain pipe in Sperry Avenue.
(d) The relocation of a power pole at the northwesterly
end of proposed Eccles Court.
(e) The installation of a sanitary sewer main with
manholes and appurtenances in Eccles Avenue from the southerly
end of the existing sewer main extending southwesterly from
Butler Road; thence southwesterly to the most easterly end of
the sewer main in Eccles Avenue extending northeasterly from
Sperry Avenue.
(f) The acquisition of land for the widening of
Eccles Avenue at its intersection with Butler Road, the
grading of the widened area including the removal of exist-
ing curbs, gutters and sidewalks, and the installation
therein of new curbs, gutters and sidewalks and base and
surface paving, a center island with curbing, the relocation
of catch basins and the extension of the existing underground
storm drain pipe, and the relocation of an existing power
pole.
Said changes and modifications shall be made by filing with
the Clerk a supplement to the Engineer's report containing said
changes.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Monday, the 6th day of July,
1964, at the hour of 8 o~clock P.M., in the regular meeting place
of said Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, South San Francisco,
California~ are hereby fixed as the time and place when and where
said Council will consider the matter of making said changes and
modifications and hearing all persons interested therein.
The City Clerk of said Council shall cause a copy of this
resolution to be published once in the Enterprise Journal, a news-
paper of general circulation published in said City and the paper in
which the Notice of Improvement under said Resolution of Intention
was published, said publication to be at least ten days before said
day of hearing.
