CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO CONSENT TO CANCELLATION OF TAXES ON
PROPERTY ACQUIRED FOR PUBLIC USE, TO WIT:
A CITY LIBRARY SITE, AND REQUESTING THE
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO AUTHORIZE CANCEL-
LATION OF COUNTY TAXES AND THE DISTRICT
ATTORNEY'S CONSENT THERETO
BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco on the ll%h day of O¢%ober , 19 63 , ac-
quired a certain parcel of real property for public use,
to wit: A City library site, which parcels are more par-
ticularly hereinafter described, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City desires to
authorize the City Attorney to consent to the cancellation
of taxes thereon pursuant to Section 4986.2 of the Revenue
and Taxation Code of the State of California, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to request the
Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo to author-
ize cancellation of County taxes and the District Attor-
ney of said County to consent thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that
1. The City Attorney of the City of South San Fran-
cisco is authorized to consent to cancellation of taxes
on the parcel of real,property acquired for public use,
to wit: A City library site, which property is more par-
ticularly described as follows:
San Mateo County Assessor's Parcel No. OO1-
050-340, Code Area 81-OO1, in Volume OO1,
generally described as 1.54 acres more or
less lying northwesterly and adjacent to
Lots 159-163 of Southwood No.3 acreage
South San Francisco School District
2. This Resolution be filed with the Board of
Supervisors of the County of San Mateo and the District
Attorney of the County of San Mateo and be deemed a re-
quest to said Board of Supervisors and District Attor-
ney to authorize and consent, respectively, to cancel-
lation of taxes on said parcel of real property.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held this 5th day of April
by the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN Frank J. Bertucelli, Patrick E. Ahem, Emilio
Cortesi, Andrew Rocca, and Guido J. Rozzi
