CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON
CERTAIN PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN LOT 5
BLOCK 16 AND LOT 12 BLOCK 16, SOUTH SAN FRAN-
CISCO INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT #3
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco as follows:
1. This Resolution of Intention is adopted pursuant
to the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Section 50430,
of the Government Code.
2. The public interest and convenience require, and
it is the intention of this Council, to vacate and abandon
the public utility easements described as follows:
Ail those easements designated as "P.U.E."
lying within Lot 5, Block 16, as said ease-
ments, lot and block are shown on that cer-
tain map entitled "SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO IN-
DUSTRIAL PARK, UNIT NO.3, SOUTH SAN FRANCIS-
CO, SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA", recorded
in Volume 49 of Maps at pages 25 to 28 in-
clusive, San Mateo County Records.
Ail those certain easements designated as
"P.U.E." lying within Lot 12, Block 16, as
said easements, lot and block are shown on
that certain map entitled "SOUTH SAN FRANCIS-
CO INDUSTRIAL PARK, UNIT NO.3, SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO, SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA", re-
corded in Volume 49 of Maps at pages 25 and
28, inclusive, San Mateo County Records.
3. Reference is hereby made to the map entitled "P.U.E."
to be Quitclaimed Lots 5 and 12, Block 16, South San Fran-
cisco Industrial Park Unit #3~' Drawing #B-i, 212-0610-15,
dated 2-15-65, prepared by Wilsey~ Ham & Blair, and the
final subdivision map entitled "South San Francisco, San
Mateo County, California", recorded in Volume 49 of Maps at
pages 25 to 28 inclusive, San Mateo County Records, which
are on file in the office of the City Clerk for particu-
lars, as to said easements to be vacated and abandoned.
4. Notice is hereby given that Tuesday, the ~Jm
day of July , 19 6§, at 8 o'clock p.m., in the
Council Chambers, City Hall, South San Francisco, is hereby
fixed as the time and place when and where all persons in-
terested in, or having objections to, the proposed vacation
of the public utility easements lying within Lots 5 and 12,
Block 16, South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit #3, South
San Francisco, San Mateo County, California, as hereinbefore
described, may appear before said Council and be heard.
5. Notice of the vacation of said public utility ease-
ments shall be posted conspicuously along the line of said
easements or part thereof to be vacated at leamt ten (10)
days prior to the date set for hearing, and said Notice shall
be posted not more than 300 feet apart, and not less than
three (3) of said Notices shall be posted.
6. Notice of the vacation of the public utility ease-
ments hereinbefore described shall be published in the
"Enterprise-Journal", a newspaper of general circulation,
published in the City of South San Francisco, and said No-
tice shall be published at least two (2) successive weeks
prior to the hearing.
7. A copy of this Resolution shall be submitted to
the Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco
for its report and recommendation in accordance with Section
5435 of the Government Code.

regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
