CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING MAP AND REPORT AMENDING THE
SELECT SYSTEM OF CITY STREETS AND HIGHWAYS AND RE-
QUESTING APPROVAL THEREOF BY THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Fran-
cisco, County of San Marco, has adopted a resolution dated
August 19, 1963, indicating its desire to receive funds made
available by the Collier-Unruh Local Transportation Develop-
ment Act, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Fran-
cisco did adopt that map and report dated August 31, 1964, en-
titled "Map of Select System Report, City of South San Fran-
cisco, August 31, 1964", and said map and report has been ap-
proved by the California Highway Commission on October 29,
1964, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend said Select
System of Streets and Highways to include certain streets or
portions thereof hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That said Select System of Streets and Highways be
amended to include the following:
a. That portion of Huntington Avenue from South
Spruce to the southerly City limits which is presently proposed
for construction and is shown on the map entitled "Amendment
1 - 65, South San Francisco Select System of Streets and High-
ways", which is by this reference made a part hereof.
b. Stonegate Drive from Chestnut Avenue to the pro-
posed Euculyptus Avenue terminus, construction of which is pre-
sently proposed and location of which is shown on the map en-
titled "Amendment 1 - 65, South San Francisco Select System of
Streets and Highways", and by this reference made a part hereof.
2. That the map and report entitled "Amendment I - 65,
South San Francisco Select System of Streets and Highways",
copies of which are on file in the offices of the City Clerk
and the Director of Public Works setting forth said streets
known as Huntington Avenue and Stonegate Drive as amendments
to the Select System of Streets and Highways are hereby approved
and adopted.
3. That two copies of this resolution together with said
map and report be filed in the office of the Department of Pub-
lic Works, State of California, through the district office of
Division of Highways, 150 Oak Street, San Francisco, California.
4. That the City Council of the City of South San Fran-
cisco by this resolution petitions the Califo~nia Highway Com-
mission to approve the aforegoing amendment and the map and re-
port as an amendment of the Select System of City Streets and
Highways dated August 31, 1964, and approved by the California
Highway Commission on October 29, 1964.
