CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A GRADING
PERMIT TO STONEGATE RIDGE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that
WHEREAS, the Stonegate Ridge Planned Community Dist-
rict was established pursuant to findings and recommend-
ations of the Planning Commission and Ordinance of the City
of South San Francisco, and,
WHEREAS, certain grading work is required to imple-
ment the development as proposed and approved, and
WHEREAS, the report entitled "Report on Preliminary
Soils Investigation - Proposed Stonegate Ridge Developments,
City of South San Francisco, San Marco County, California",
dated August 13, 1965, prepared by Lee and Praszker, Con-
sulting Civil Engineers (Michael Praszker #10641) has been
submitted, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has filed his
report and recommendation thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that this Resolution
shall constitute a Permit to William H. Young and Stonegate
Ridge Investment Company to perform the grading work to
implement the Planned Community Development recommended
by the Planning Commission in Resolution No. 1862 , and
established by Ordinance No.528 of the City of South San
Francisco, said work to be done in accordance with the
following terms and conditions:
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. ConductinK the Gradin~ Work
Permittee shall conduct the grading work and place
the fill in accordance with the following:
(a) Stonegate Ridge Approved Planned Community
General Development Plan, Schedule and Statement,
and the findings and recommendations of the Planning
Commission thereon and Ordinance No.528
(b) Report of Preliminary Soils Investigation,
Proposed Stonegate Developments, City of South San
Francisco, San Mateo County, California, dated Au-
gust 13, 1965, prepared by Lee and Praszker, Con-
sulting Civil Engineers
(c) Report and recommendations of the Director
of Public Works contained in the following:
Inter-Office Memorandum dated July 2, 1964
(6 pages) from the Director of Public Works
to the Planning Commission, Subject: Stone-
gate Ridge Planned Community Development
Inter-Office Memorandum dated July 14, 1965,
from the Director of Public Works' office
to the City Council, Subject: Grading Per-
mit Stonegate Ridge
2. Availability of Documents and Inspection
Permittee shall make available to the Director of Pub-
lic Works any and all documents, maps or reports concerned
with the grading operations and shall permit inspection of
the fill material at the site by the Director of Public
Works in order that adequate inspection may be made to de-
termine whether said property is being filled and install-
ations being made in accordance with this Permit.
3. Prevention of Damage to Property
Permittee shall conduct the grading operations so as
not to damage the property in the vicinity of the land to
be graded and so as not to leave uncompleted dangerous
cuts or embankments. In this regard, should Permittee
leave uncompleted work in a hazardous condition, or danger-
ous cuts or embankments, City may order the dangerous cuts
or embankments removed or made safe at the cost and expense
of Permittee.
4. Haul Route
The Director of Public Works shall designate the haul
route for said Permittee and shall file a description of
said haul route with the City Clerk together with the Per-
mit. Permittee or his hauling contractor shall file with
City a corporate surety bond in the principal sum of
Five Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($ 5,000.00 )
to secure the performance and to assure compliance with the
provisions of Ordinance No.260.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 16th day of August
19 65 , by the following vote:
