HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 100-2002RESOLUTION NO. 100-2002 C1TY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO BRONZE SCULPTURES BY CORRINE HARTLEY FROM TERBUSH GALLERY IN THE AMOUNT OF $22,695. WHEREAS, staff recommends the purchase of two life-size bronze sculptures; and WHEREAS, at their regular meeting on October 17, 2002, the Cultural Arts Commission voted unanimously in favor of recommending the pieces to the City Council for approval; and WHEREAS, if approved, this purchase will be expended from the capital funds administered by the Cultural Arts Commission through the operating budget. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of two bronze sculptures created by Corrine Hartley from Terbush Gallery in the amount of $22,695. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of November 2002 by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Councilmembers Joseph A.
