CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE NATURE AND
SCOPE OF THE SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT PROPOSED TIDELAND FILL
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that
WHEREAS, the City and County of San Francisco Public
Utilities Commission and San Francisco International Air-
port have filed a Grading Permit application for the con-
struction of fill on approximately 50 acres of tideland and
submerged land in Bay waters to accommodate a portion of
the air cargo center at San Francisco International Airport,
and,
WHEREAS, the site, nature and scope of the proposed
fill project is shown on the following plats:
(1) "Proposed fill for Air Cargo Center in San
Francisco Bay at San Francisco International
Airport, County of San Marco, State of Calif-
ornia, dated July 27, 1966, prepared by O. L.
Moore, General Manager, Utilities Engineering
Bureau, City and County of San Francisco", en-
titled 'Profile of Fill for Air Cargo Center,
Section A-A'
(2) "Proposed Plan of Development - San Francisco
International Airport, No. SK 660822
and,
WHEREAS, said applicants request City Council's
approval of the nature and scope of the proposed project
in order that an application may be filed with the San
Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that
1. The City Council does hereby approve the nature
and scope of the proposed fill project as set forth in
the application of the City and County of San Francisco
Public Utilities Commission and San Francisco Internation-
al Airport, dated August 23, 1966, and the attached .plats
hereinbefore referred to.
2. Said approval shall not constitute the issuance
of a Grading Permit.
3. Prior to the issuance of a Grading Permit by the
City of South San Francisco, a complete soils report and
grading plan shall be filed with the Director of Public
Works which shall be reviewed by him and filed with the
City Council together with his report and recommendations.
