CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ORDERING VACATION OF A
PORTION OF MARCO WAY
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco, and this Council does hereby find,
order and determine that
1. The City Council did on the 7th day of
November , 19 66 , adopt its Resolution No. 4562 of Intention
to vacate a portion of Marco Way, more particularly herein-
after described.
2. Said Resolution recited that proceedings were
undertaken pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941.
3. Said'Resolution of Intention was duly published as
required by law; and notices of its passage entitled "NOTICE
OF PROPOSED VACATION - PORTION OF MARCO WAY" were fully
posted in the time, manner and form provided by law, all
as appear from the affidavit of pUblication and posting on
file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
4. Monday, the 19th day of December , 19 66, at
the hour of 8 p.m., in the Council Chambers, City Hall,
Grand and Maple Avenues, South San Francisco, California,
were fixed in said Resolution of Intention as the time
and place when and where any and all persons interested
in, or having any objections to, said proposed vacation,
may appear before said Council and be heard.
§. The portion of Marco Way hereby ordered vacated
is described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of Parcel 1
(0.660 acres more or less gross) as said parcel
is delineated and so designated~upon that cer-
tain map titled "Record of Survey Being An
Amended Record of Survey of Parcels of Land Be-
ing a Part of Swamp and Overflowed Lands Survey
No. 19 of San Mateo County and Lying Within the
City of South San Francisco, Section 27, T3S,
P. SW; M.D.B. & M. South San Francisco, San Marco
County, California" filed for record February 8,
1965 in Book 6 of L.L.S. Maps at page 10 records
of said San Mateo County and running thence
northerly along the easterly line of said Parcel
1 N O° 06' W, 107.45 feet to the True Point of
Beginning, said True Point of Beginning also be-
ing located on the right of way line of Marco
Way as said street is delineated and designated
upon said Record of Survey as a street easement;
thence northerly along the right of way line of
said Marco Way on a curve to the right from a
tangent bearing N 53° 39' 16" W having a radius
of 50.00 feet and a central angle of 107° 06' 24"
an arc length of 93.47 feet to a point on the
easterly line of said Parcel 1; thence southerly
along said easterly line S O° 06' E, 80.44 feet
to the True Point of Beginning and containing
0.026 acres of land more or less.
6. No objections of any kind or character having been, or
were made or filed, against said proposed vacation.
7. It is to the interest and convenience of the City of
South San Francisco that said portion of Marco Way be, and
hereby is, vacated.
8. The City Clerk of said City shall cause a certified
copy of this Resolution and order, attested under the seal
of said City, to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of the County of San Mateo.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held this 19th day of December , 19 66, by
the following vote:
