CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING A MODIFICATION OF ROUTE 186 TO
INCLUDE A PUBLIC ROAD CONNECTION FROM SOUTH AIRPORT
BOULEVARD TO THE NORTH ON ROUTE 101 (BAYSHORE FREEWAY).
BE IT RESOLVED BY TIiE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, that
WHE~S, the Council did in Resolution Number 4703,
entitled "A Resolution Requesting Connection from South Airport
Boulevard to Route 186," passed the 3rd day of July
19 67, request the California Highway Commission of the State
of California, to approve a connection between Route 186 and
South Airport Boulevard, and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to further request
modification of the plans for Route 186,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETEP~MINED AND ORDERED
AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco shall, and does hereby, request the California High-
way Commission of the State of California to modify the plans
for Route 186 so as to include a northbound on ramp to Bayshore
Freeway from the extension between the Bayshore and South
Airport Boulevard.
2. The Council does further request that provision
be included in any highway agreement for modification and/or
repair of South Airport Boulevard to accomodate the traffic
channelled into said area, said modification and repair to be
at no cost to the City of South San Francisco.
3. That a copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to the California State B/ghway Commission, and Mr. Alan S.
Hart, District Engineer, Division of Highways.
