HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 112-2011 RESOLUTION NO. 112 -2011 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION ACCEPTING $137,808 FOR PERSONNEL OVERTIME AND EQUIPMENT FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA - OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY (OTS) SELECTIVE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM AND AMENDING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S 2011/2012 OPERATING BUDGET. WHEREAS, staff recommends the acceptance of a grant in the amount of $137,808 for personnel overtime and equipment from the State of California — Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) Selective Traffic Enforcement Program; and WHEREAS, the grant funding will be used to augment the operating budget of the Police Department for FY 2011/2012. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby accepts the $137,808 donation from the State of California — Office of Traffic Safety and amends the 2011/2012 Police Department Operating Budget to reflect this increase of funds. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 14 day of September 2011 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark Addiego, Pedro Gonzalez, and Karyl Matsumoto, Vice Mayor Richard A.
