HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 4720-1967 RESOLUTION NO. 4720 A RESOLUTION AWARDING SALE OF BONDS CABOT, CABOT & FORBES INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 2-A ASSESSMENT DISTRICT SECOND SALE -- $500,000 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. ~613, adopted by said Council on January 16, 1967, and its Resolu- tion calling for bids on the sale of bonds pursuant thereto, adopted on July 3, 1967, notice of said sale has been duly given; WHEREAS, said bids have been received by the City Clerk, as fixed in said notice, and have been publicly opened, exam- ined and declared, and have been referred to this Council for consideration; and WHEREAS, this is the time and place fixed in said-notice for considering the bids for the purchase of said bonds; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. That all written bids received for the purchase of said bonds, excepting the bid herein stated, be, ~nd they are hereby, rejected, and that said bonds be, and they are hereby, ordered sold to TaYlor and Company as the highest responsible bidder therefor, said sale to be subject to all of the terms and conditions set forth in the Notice of Sale of said bonds and in said accepted bid. 2. That the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby directed to have said bonds printed forthwith, and that the same be immediately signed, sealed and delivered to said bidder on receipt of the amount therefor and upon the performance of the conditions contained in said written offer. 3. That the interest rate of said bonds be, and the same is hereby fixed at the rate stated in said bid. I hereby certify that the foregoingresolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 7th day of August, 1967, by the following vote~ AYES, COUNCILMEN NOES, " ABSENT, " Patrick E.
