CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CLOSING OF AN INTERSECTION.
WHEREAS, the Council has received and duly considered
the recommendations of the Chief of Police and the several
requests of residents in the vicinity of a road referred to
as Chinese Cemetery Road at the point where it intersects
with Junipero Serra Boulevard, and
WHEREAS, said recommendations and requests recite the
dangers to life and property caused by the nature of said
intersection with Junipero Serra Boulevard and by reason
thereof, require the closing of said intersection,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco that
1. The City Manager and Chief of Police are authorized
to make the necessary temporary installations to control the
entrance described in Exhibit A attached hereto pending further
authorization.
2. This authorization to install and the installation
of any temporary barricade or other structure is for the
purpose of protecting life and property pending a permanent
resolution of the matter, and is not intended and shall not
be an act of the City to terminate any public rights nor is
it an abandonment'of any rights to enter and exit from said
entrance.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 7th day of August , 19 67
by the following vote:
