HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 4753-1967 RESOLUTION NO. 4753 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF A GRADING PERMIT - WESTBOROUGH SQUARE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the Director of Public Works having filed a report of his recommendations on the application of Caesar Callan Homes, Inc., for a Grading Permit to grade a ten-acre commercial site designated as Westborough Square (Westborough Shopping Center), situated northeasterly of the intersection of Gellert and Westborough Boulevards, the City Council hereby authorizes the City Clerk to issue the Grading Permit entitled "Grading Permit to Caesar Callan Homes, Inc., for Westborough Square," should same be required to implement the previous authorization made in the Westborough Square Use Permit grants. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said permit contain the following provision in accordance with the terms of the agree- ment entitled "Agreement - Securing Performance of Agreement of October 24, 1963, Re: Park-Recreation, Fire Station and Public Library Sites in Westborough", entered into between Caesar Callan Homes, Inc., et al, and the City of South San Francisco on the 5th day of June, 1967 (recorded in the office of the County Recorder, Volume 5322, pages 132 through 200), Developers shall clear the liens and encumbrances from the parcel therein designated as Parcel 1 - Park Recreation Site and designated as Exhibit B to said agreement, and deliver to City concurrently with the execution of this permit, a policy of title insurance, evidencing marketable title to said parcel in the City of South San Francisco, as set forth in said agreement.
