CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ESCROW
INSTRUCTIONS (PARK SITE, FIRE STATION-LIBRARY
SITE AND PORTION OF GALWAY PLACE).
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized
to issue and execute
1. Escrow instructions providing for the issuance of a
Corporation Grant Deed without warranty expressed or implied
by Title Insurance and Trust Company, a California corporation,
to the City of South San Francisco of the parcels described in
Resolution No. 4773, providing in said instructions for the
issuance of a CLTA policy in the principal sum of Six Hundred
Fifty Thousand Dollars ($650,000.00) for said park site, and
a CLTA policy in the principal sum of Sixty-five Thousand
Dollars ($65,000.00) for said fire station and portion of
Galway Place, assuring title vested in the City of South San
Francisco, a municipal corporation, free and clear of all liens
and encumbrances except those exceptions designated as 3, 9
and 11 in Title Insurance and Trust Company report dated November
14, 1967, and exceptions 3, 6 and 8 in Title Insurance and Trust
Company's report dated November 10, 1967, and further providing
that all costs of said escrow and said title policies shall
be borne by Caesar Callan Homes, Inc., a California corporation.
2. Execute a Holding Agreement No. 2481 between Title
Insurance and Trust Company, a California corporation, First
Party, and the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corpo-
ration, Second Party.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 4th day of December , 1967.. .,
