CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING
ALICE WALLACE SWANSON.
WHEREAS, Alice Wallace Swanson is retiring after
teaching Kindergarten in South San Francisco since 1927,
and
WHEREAS, during those many years she has guided the
children of this community in their first steps toward
great expectations, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to commend her for
so contributing to the welfare of the youth of this com-
munity;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council
does hereby commend Alice Wallace Swanson for guiding the
children of this community in their first steps toward
great expectations and for serving so well the principles
of public education and democratic government.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a reqular
meeting ' held on the 4th day of March
by the following vote:
