CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF THE 2010-
11 CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND
EVALUATION REPORT ( "CAPER ") TO THE DEPARTMENT
OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development ( "HUD ") requires
communities receiving Community Development Block Grant ( "CDBG ") funds to submit a
year -end Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report ( "CAPER "); and
WHEREAS, in fiscal year 2010 -11, a total of $781,456 in CDBG funding, $12,000 in
HOME funding received from the San Mateo County HOME Consortium, and $52,800 in South
San Francisco Redevelopment Agency funds were available for a broad range of community
development activities; and
WHEREAS, the CAPER has been available for public review in the office of Economic
and Community Development, City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue since September 15, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City Council previously approved a budget amendment for the City's
CDBG -R allocation for fiscal year 2010 -11 to address use of $13,000 in unspent federal stimulus
funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute all documents and
to take all actions necessary to prepare the CDBG -R Budget Amendment and the CAPER and to
submit such documents to the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 28 day of
September 2011 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark Addiego, Pedro Gonzalez, and Karyl Matsumoto,
Vice Mayor Richard A. Garbarino and Mayor Kevin Mullin
