CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION REGARDING TRANSFER OF
CAPITAL STOCK OF WESTERN TV CABLE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that
WHEREAS, a letter dated March 4, 1968, has been received
by the City advising the City that Chronicle Publishing Company
proposes to transfer all of its shares of Western TV Cable to
Western Communications, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chronicle
and prior to such transfer approval has been requested by Western
TV Cable;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco hereby approves and consents to the transfer of
control of Western TV Cable insofar as it may affect the franchise
granted to them pursuant to Ordinance 563 of the City of South
San Francisco passed the 19th day of June, 1967, which transfer of
control is to be accomplished by assignment of Chronicle shares
of Western TV Cable to Chronicle wholly-owned subsidiary, Western
Communications, Inc.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said consent is based on the
condition that City may require the necessary modifications of
named obligors in the performmnce bond, indemnifications, insurance
policies and other documents should same be required to comply
with City's ordinances granting and regulating said CATV franchise
in the City of South San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting
held on the 6th day of May , 19 68 ,
by the following vote:
