HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 4844-1968RESOLUTION NO. 4844 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO APPROVE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR WESTBOROUGH BOULEVARD EXTENSION . BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that in accordance with the agreement between the County of San Mateo, a political subdivision of the State of California, and the City of South San Francisco, a General Law City of the County of San Marco, State of California, made the 17th day of November, 1964, that: 1. The City Council makes this declaration of intention to approve the plans and specifications for Westborough Boulevard Extension, titles of which are set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto andmade a part hereof when said plans and specifications are modified in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth on Exhibit A. 2. The City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to approve in writing the plans and specifications for Westborough Boulevard Extension when said plans and specifications are modified in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto and a copy of said written approval shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of May , 196~8, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN Frank J. SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF UESTBOROUGH BOULEVARD EXTENSION BE~,'4EEN 3UNIPERO SERRA BOULEVARD AND EL CASINO REAL, AND CHESTNUT AVENUE BETWEEN EL CA~INO REAL AND MISSION ROAD, APPROXINg~TELY 1.09 MILES IN LENGTH, INCLUDING CONSTRUCTION OF A MA30R STORM DRAIN SYSTEM, WITH APPURTENANT ~ORK THERETO. CONDITIONS That the plans be modified as provided by the action taken by the Board of Supervisors at its meeting of February 23, 1967 and providing that the City agrees to maintain the landscaping of the highest quality; and that there be included in the specifications for the job, provisions limiting the hours of work to normal working hours and controlling dust, noise and disruption. That San Mateo County contribute the sum of $50,000. to the construction of the 12-Mile Creek drainage structure from its terminus as shown on the present plans to the culvert at West Orange Avenue. That the County include in its plan, designs of a drainage structure from its present terminus as shown on the present plans to E1Camino Real. That the San Mateo County Flood Control District accept for operation and maintenance upon its completion the drainage system in 12r. Mile Creek. That San Mateo County contribute to the widening and improvement of Westborough Boulevard west of 3unipero Serra Boulevard 75~ of half of all the costs attributable to the City of South San Francisco by virtue of that certain agreement between the City and Caesar Callan Homes, Inc., distributing said costs~plus the sum of $40,000. for incidental expense. That the County will include in its plans, designs for a pedestrian overpass in the vicinity of Camaritas Avenue. That the County will provide for Type B Soil Erosion Control on the side slopes of the fill and will bear half the cost thereof. That the County will bear half the cost of first quality landscaping on the north slope of the fill including landscape architectural fees, providing the City will agree to maintaining said landscaping.
