CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS TO PARADISE
VAT.T.I~.Y PARiC.
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that ~
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council
and published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined "
and declared on the 17th day of Juna , 1968.
for the work to be done and the improvement to be m-de as ' '
described and specified:
Landscape Improvements to E1 Camino Real Median Islands,
~Paradise Valley Park and Hickey Boulevard Extension;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said pro-
posals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned~ and hereby
awards the contract for doing the work and improvements and
furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment necessary
therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, at the unit pri-
ces named in their bid to wit:
A. & J. Shooter, Inc,
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to
make' and enter into a written contract with said successful
bidder, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of
the City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was re-
gularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a r~gular
meeting held on the 17th day of 3v-~
