CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MICHAEL BURNS
WHEREAS, Michael Burns, of 327 Valencia Drive, South
San Francisco, did on June 28, 1968, at Montara Beach with
great risk to his own personal safety rescue Anthony Sarria,
and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to commend him for his
heroic act;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco that said Council does
hereby issue this com~nendation to Michael Burns for his
heroic act in rescuing Arthur Sarria at Montara Beach on
June 28, 1968.
