CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
LANDSCAPE PLANTING - HICKEY
BOULEVARD EXTENSION.
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council
and published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined
and declared on the 17th day of 3un, , 1968,
for the work to be done and the improvement to be made as
described and specified:
LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS TO HICKEY
BOULEVARD EXTENSION.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby award the contract
for doing the work and improvements and furnishing the
materials, supplies and equipment necessary therefor to the
lowest responsible bidder, at the unit prices named in their
bid, to wit: Rudolph Watson, Inc., Landscape Contractor, and
should said contractor refuse, neglect or otherwise fail to
execute the contract for performance of said work, then the
City Manager is authorized to award the contract to the next
lowest responsible bidder and call the bid bond of Rudolph
Watson, Inc., Landscape Contractors, in accordance with the
contract documents;
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to
make and enter into a written contract with said successful
bidder, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed
to attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal
of the City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a reqular meeting
held on the 1st day of July , 19 68 , by
the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN Frank J. Bertucelli, Patrick E. Ahem, Andrew
Rocca and F. Frank ~tammini
