CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF GOVERNING BODY OF APPLICANT
Resolution authorizing filing of application with the
Department of Housing and Urban Development, United States
of America, for a grant under P.L. 8c~-117.
WHEREAS, pursuant to P.L. 89-117 the United States of America
has authorized the making of grants to public bodies to aid
in financing the construction of basic water and sewer projects:
Now Therefore, Be It Resolved By City Council of South San
Francisco

That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby
authorized to execute and file an application on behalf
of the City of South San Francisco with the Department
of Housing and Urban Development, United States Government,
for a grant to aid in financing the construction of South'
Spruce Avenue Storm Drainage Improvement Project, and an
assurance of compliance with the Department of Housing
and Urban Development regulations under Title VI of the
Civil Rights Act of 1964.

That Louis H. Goss, Director of Public Works, be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information
as the Department of Housing and I'rban Development may
reasonably request in connection with the application
which is herein authorized to be filed.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at an adJeurned regular
meeting held on the 26%h day of Augus%,
by the following vote:
