A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTtC~CT
IM~VEMENT AND SIGNALIZATIQN OF T~E INTERSECTION
OF WESTBOROUGH AND CA~ :BOULEVA~S, SOUTM SAN

RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, chat
~HEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council
and published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined
and declared on the 3rd day of O=toh-r. 196~
for the work to be done and the improvement to be madg as
described and specified:
"Improvement and Signalization of the Intersection
of Westboro~gh and Callan Bo'~levards, So~th San
Francisco, California"
NOW, THEREFORE, iT IS ORDERED as follows:
!. That said Council does hereby reject all of said pro-
posals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract for doing the work and improvements and
furnishing the materials, supplies and eofaipment necessary
therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, at the unit pri-
ces named in their bid to wit:
THE LOWRIE PAVING COMPANY, _'NC.
2. That ~ =

make'and enter into a written contract with said successful
bidder, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of
the City.
I inereby certify that the foregoing resolution was re-
gularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
