RESOLUTION OF COVERNINC BODY OF APPLICANT
Resolution authorizing filing of application with the Depart-
sent of Housing and Urban Development, United States o£
America, for a grant under P.L. 89-117.
bqtEREAS, pursuant to P.L. 89-117 ~he United States o£
America has authorized the making of g.-ants to public bodies
to aid in financing the construction o_~ basic water and sewer
projects:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by ~ity Council of South
San Francisco
1. That the Director of Public l~orks be and he is hereby
authorized to execute and file an application on behalf
of the City o£ South San Francisco with the Department
of Housing and Urban Development, t~nited States Gove~nsent,
for a grant to aid in financing the construction ora
new force main from the Shaw Pumpir. g Plant to the Sewage
Treatment Plant and additional pumps at the Shaw Road
Pumping Station.
2. That Louis H. Goss, Director of Public Works, be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to ~urnish such informa-
tion as the Department of Housing and Urban Development
may reasonably request in connection with the application
which is herein authorized to be filed.
