HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 4976-1968RESOLUTION NO. 4976 ' RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED ROTARY PLAZA ANNEXATION RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that' WHEREAS, on September 16, 1968, the Council adopted Resolution No. 4942 , entitled "Resolution Giving Notice of Proposed Annexation To City of South San Francisco of 'Uninhabited Territory Described Herein and Designated Rotary Plaza Annexation' and Giving Notice of Time and Place for Hearing of Protests Thereto", upon a Petition for Annexa- tion filed with said City on August 20, 1968, following approval of said annexation by the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Mateo, State of California, given in Resolution No. 186, adopted July 18, 1968, by said Commission, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 4942 , hereinbefore referred to, Notices of Hearing were duly given and this Council duly met and convened at the time and place specified for the purpose of hearing and passing upon all protests to said proposed annexation and at said hearing in open public session duly asked for protests, if any, to the proposed annexation and gave all persons full opportunity to protest said annexation, but received none. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED AND DECLARED that protest to the proposed annexation to the City of South San Francisco of the territory designated as Rotary Plaza Annexation and more fully described in Resolution No. 4942 passed September 16, 1968, has not been made by public and private owners entitled to protest therein pursuant to Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939. le I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a ~ reau.lar meeting held this 4th day of November by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN Frank J.
