HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5004-1968 RESOLUTION NO. 5004 ' A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ISSUE SEWER REVENUE BONDS SOUTH AIRPORT. BOULEVARD AREA SEWER PROJECT RESOLVED, by the City Council of th~ City of South San Francisco, California, as follows: 1. The public interest, convenienee and necessity require and it is the intention of this COuncil to acquire and construct the sanitary sewerage facilities hereinafter described, and to issue sewer revenue bonds in payment of the cost thereof. 2. The estimated cost of the acquisition, construction and financing of the works to be acquired and constructed is the sum of $130,000. 3. The amount of revenue bonds to,be issued and sold is the sum of $1BO,O00. 4. A general description of the area to be served by · the proposed works is set forth in Exhibit "A" hereto attached and incorporated herein by reference, and is shown on a plat entitled "Proposed Boundaries of South Airport Boulevard Area Sewer Project" prepared by the Director of Public Works, and on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which plat reference is hereby made and which shall govern for all details. 5. A Lgeneral description of the works is the acquisi- · tion, construction, improving and financing of an enterprise consisting of sanitary sewer mains, manholes, and appurte- nances in South Airport Boulevard from Wondercolor Lane to a new pump station near Belle Air Road and'from existing pump station NOo 5 across and northwesterly along South Airport BouleVard to said new pump station, together with the con- struction of said new pump station and appurtenances. 6. R'eference is hereby made to plans and specifications of said work and improvements prepared by the Director of Public Works, and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 7. An estimate of the number and!character of the places and properties to be served by the works are, 49 ready for immediate service and 61 in expectancy, industrial and commercial structures. 8. An estimate of the immediate annual revenue that would be received from the operation of~the works is $30,060, and an estimate of future annual revenues in expectancy is $40,000. 9. Sewer Revenue Bonds of the City will be issued to cover that portion of the cost of the works not available from other sources, pursuant to Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 4950), Part 3, DiVision 5 of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California, commonly referred to as the Sewer Revenue Bond Act of 1933. 10. Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 20th day of January, 1969, at the hour of 8:00 o"clock P.M., at the City Hall, South San Francisco, California, are hereby fixed as the time and place when and where persons interested may appear before the City Council and be heard as to any protests or objections they may have against the acquisition or con- struction of the proposed works and the issuance and sale of bonds. ll.
