CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION VACATING A FIVE FOOT (5')
PORTION OF A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT OF
LOTS 27 AND 28, BLOCK 2, CABOT, CABOT
FORBES INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 1-B.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
WHEREAS, a public utility easement was dedicated to the
City of South San Francisco by a certain subdivision map
entitled "Cabot, Cabot & Forbes Industrial Park Unit No.
1-B", filed in the official records of San Mateo County on
May 25, 1966, in Volume 64 of Maps at pages 49, 50 and 51,
and
WHEREAS, a five foot (5') portion of said public utility
easement, as hereinafter described, has not been used for
the purposes for which it was dedicated or acquired, nor in
fact was said portion of the easement ever used after said
dedication and is not presently nor will said portion of
the easement be necessary for public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED THAT:
1. The five foot (5') portion of the public utility ease-
ment described as follows be vacated and abandoned:
A five foot (5') portion of the public utility
easement situate in the City of South San Francisco,
County of San Mateo, State of California being a
portion of that certain fifteen foot (15~) public
utility easement in Lot 28, Block 2, as said ease-
ment, lot and block are shown on that certain map
entitled "Cabot, ~Cabot & Forbes Industrial Park
Unit No. lB, South San Francisco, San Mateo County,
California" filed for record on May 25, 1966, in
Volume 64 of Maps at pages 49, 50 and 51, San
Mateo County Records, which five foot portion is
more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the southeasterly line of
said 15 foot public utility easement, said Point
of Beginning being distant thereon N 33°24' ~3"
E 3.00 feet from the intersection of said south-
easterly line with the southwesterly lzne of said

Lot 28; thence from said Point of Beginning
along said southeasterly line N 33o2~' 33"
E 528.63 feet ~o a point on the southwesterly
line of that certain 20 foot public utility
easement lying partially within Lot 28 and
shown on said map; thence along last said
line N 65o56'54'' W 5.07 feet; thence leaving last
said line along a line parallel with and per-
pendicularly distant northwesterly 5 feet from
the southeasterly line of said 15 foot public
utility easement S 33o24'33'' W 527.81 feet to
a point on a line parallel with and perpendic-
ularly distant northeasterly 5 feet from the
southwesterly line of said Lot 28; thence along
last said parallel line S 56o37'50'' E 5.00 feet
to the Point of Beginning.
2. Said vacation and abandonment shall not release, vacate
or abandon any other easements granted or in use.
3. The City Clerk record the required documents to
clear said easement from the record title.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a
meeting held on. the 6th day of
19..69, by the following vote:
