HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5022-1969Botieff Annexation RESOLUTION NO. 5022~ CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED BOTIEFF ANNEXATION, RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that: WHEREAS, on November 18, 1968 the Council adopted Resolution No. 4990 , entitled "Resolution Giving Notice of Proposed Annexation to City of South San Francisco of Uninhabited Territory Described Herein and Designated ' Botieff Annexation and Giving Notice of Time and Place for Hearing of Protests Thereto", upon a Petition for Annexation filed with said City on October 31, 1968 , following approval of said annexation by the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Mateo, State of California, given in Resolution No. 190, adopted September 18, 1968 by said Commission, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 4990 , herein- before referred to, Notices of Hearing were duly given and this Council duly met and convened at the time and place specified for the purpose of hearing and passing upon all protests to said proposed annexation and at said hearing in open public session duly asked for protests, if any, to the proposed annexation and gave all persons full opportunity to protest said annexation, but received none. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED AND DECLARED that protest to the proposed annexation to the City of South San Francisco of the territory designated as Botieff Annexation and more fully described in Resolution No. 4990 passed November 18, 1968 has not been made by public and private owners entitled to protest therein pursuant to Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 20th day of January 19 69, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCIL~N NOES, " ABSF~NT, " Frank J.
