CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD 0F CONTRACT
GALWAY DRIVE IMPROVEMENT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Snuth San
Francisco that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council
and published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined
and declared on the 21st day of April , 1969, for
the work to be done and the improvement to be made as
described and specified:
GALWAY DRIVE IMPROVEMENT.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said
proposals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned and
hereby orders that upon receipt of Developers II's share
of cost, as set forth in the agreement providing for said
project, which agreement is dated the 20th day of January,
1969, the contract for doing the work and improvements and
furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment necesaary
therefor shall stand awarded to the lowest responsible bidder,
at the unit prices named in their bid, to wit:
The Lowrie Paving Company, Inc.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to
make and enter into a written contract with said successful
bidder, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of
the City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco ~at a regular meeting held
on the 21st day of April , 1969 , by the following
vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN Frank J. Bertucelli, Patrick E. Ahern, F. Frank
Mammini, Andrew Rocca and Warren Steinkamp
