CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CANCELLATION OF TAXES
ON PROPERTY ACQUIRED FOR PUBLIC USE AND THE
CITY ATTORNEY'S CONSENT THERETO AND REQUESTING
THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO AUTHORIZE CANCELLA-
TION OF COUNTY TAXES AND THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S
CONSENT THERETO (FIRE STATION SITE).
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco acquired by
Grant Deed dated the 10th day of April, 1969, from Joseph
Ragni and Sons, Inc., for public purposes to wit: A fire
station site, the parcel described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City desires to
authorize the cancellation of unpaid taxes pursuant~to
Section 4986.2 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the
State of California, and further authorize the City Attorney
to consent to said cancellation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City further requests
the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo to author-
ize the cancellation of unpaid County taxes and the District
Attorney of said County to consent thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED THAT:
1. The unpaid City taxes on the parcel described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto, be cancelled and that the
City Attorney be authorized to consent to the cancella-
tion of the taxes on said parcel which was acquired for
a fire station site.
2. That this Resolution be filed with the Board of Super-
visors of the County of San Mateo and the District
Attorney of the County of San Mateo and be deemed a
request to said Board of Supervisors and District
Attorney for the authorization and consent respectively
for the cancellation of unpaid taxes on said parcel of
real property.
