CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORZZING EXECUTION OF A DEED
BY THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO TO SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO SCAVENGER COMPANY, A PARTNERSHIP,
AND ACCEPTANCE OF A QUITCLAIM DEED TO THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO FROM SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
SCAVENGER COMPANY, A PARTNERSHIP.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francis co that:
1. The execution and delivery of the Grant Deed conveying to
the South San Francisco Scavenger Company, a partnership,
the Property described in Exhibit A attached hereto is
authorized, and the Mayor is authorized to execute said
deed on behalf of the City of South San Francisco and
City Clerk attest his signature thereto, delivery and
recordation of same to occur subsequent to the delivery,
acceptance and recordation of the Quitclaim Deed described
in Paragraph 2 below.
2. The City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized to accept a
Quitclaim Deed from the South San Francisco Scavenger
Company, a partnership, to the City of South San Francisco,
a municipal corporation, for the parcel described in
Exhibit B attached hereto, same to be delivered, accepted
and recorded prior to the delivery and recordation of the
Corporation Grant Deed described in Paragraph 1 above, and
receive a standard policy of title insurance evidencing that
the conveyance made thereby vests City with title to said
propertY free and clear of all liens, taxes and encumbrances
except those accepted by City.
3. The City Clerk is authorized to record or cause recordation
of the deeds for the parcels described in Paragraphs 1 and 2.
