HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5126-1969RESOLUTION NO. 5126 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES - CLAY AVENUE PARK. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that execution of an agreement with RIBERA & SUE for landscape architectural services for Clay Avenue Park is hereby authorized and the Mayor is authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City and City Clerk attest his signature thereto, the compensation therefor being as follows: In accordance with Exhibit "A" I hereby certify that ~he foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a held on the 4th day of Auqust following vote: requl ar meeting , 1969 , by the AYES, COUNCILMEN Patrick ~. BErtucelli "1~ ]]1 fi ' ~ il i' ~ EXHIBIT "A" Schedule of Payments: Payments to the Architect on account of the fee shall be maSe as follows: a. For the preliminary architect's services described in Section 3, the fee shall be a lump sum iu the amount of One Thousand Five Hundred ($1,500.00. This shall be paid as follows: Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) as a retainer payment upon signing of this contract; Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) upon completion of the Schematic Master Plan studies; and Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) upon completion of Architect's Preliminary Services. A proportionate amount of the lump sum fee for Architect's Preliminary Services shall be credited toward payment of fees earned under Section 4 for subsequent phases of work. b. When the Working Drawings and Specifications are at least fifty percent (50~) complete, a progress payment in the amount of twenty percent (20%) of the total fee, computed from the revised cost estimate, based on the fee schedule marked "Exhibit A". c. When the Working Drawings and Specifications have been completed and approved by the Owner, a progress payment in the amount of twenty-five (25~) of the total fee, computed from the second revised cost estimate. This payment shall become due within thirty (BO) days from submittal of final plans for checking by Owner, but not before necessary changes have been made by Architect as requested by Owner within said thirty (BO) day period. d. During the execution of the work, monthly payments in proportion to the progress of the work until the aggregate of all payments made for supervision total twenty percent (20%) of a percentage fee computed, as per Schedule "A", and based on actual construction costs (as defined in Section 11 below).
