HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5153-1969 RESOLUTION NO. 5153 A RESOLUTIQN OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION UNDER DIVISION 4 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE ARMOUR - LINDEN STORM DRAIN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, as follows: 1. That the public interest, convenience and necessity require and that it is the intention of this Council to undertake certain improvements within said City and to assess the cost thereof on lands benefited thereby, said improvements being described as follows: The construction of storm drainage pipes and all necessary appurtenances in an existing storm drain easement extending generally along the rear lot lines of parcels of land front- ing on Linden Avenue Extension, from an existing~box structure located about 60 feet southeasterly of the north- westerly line of Assessor's Parcel~No.~ 12-102-02 and running thence southeasterly about 550 feet to the lands of the Pacific Gas and Electric Company. 2. That reference is hereby made to the map or plat show- ing the general nature, location and extent of said improvements for a further description of said work and for all particulars relating thereto, which map or plat is on file in the office of the City Clerk and open to public inspection. 3. That the costs thereof will be assessed upon a district benefited thereby, the exterior boundaries of which are more particulariy':.shown on a map thereof on file in the office of the City Clerk, which indicates by & boundary line the extent of the territory included in the proposed district and which shall govern for all details as to the exten~ of the assessment district. 4. That proceedings for said improvements shall be con- ducted pursuant to Division 4 of the Streets .and Highways Code (the Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931) and the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, and bonds shall be issued pursuant to the Improvement Bond Act of 1915. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Counc%l of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 2nd day of September, 1969, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN NOES, " ABSENT, " Frank 3. 3ertucelli, Patrick E.
