CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING HAROLD M. VARNI.
WHEREAS, Harold M. Varni served as a member of the South
San Francisco Personnel Board from April 15, 1963, to January 1,
1969, and
WHEREAS, he served as Vice Chairman of said Board in the
year of 1966 and Chairman of said Board in the year of 1967, and
WHEREAS, the manner in which he administered the duties of
his office enhanced the value of the merit system of employment
in the City of South San Francisco and contributed to the wel-
fare of this community, and
WHEREAS, the City Counczl desires to commend him therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco ~hat the Council does hereby commend
Harold M. Varni for his contributions to the merit system of
employment in the City of South San Francisco and the welfare
of this community.
I hereby certify that tt.e foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting
held on the 2nd day of September , 19 69 , by the
following vote:
