CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
WESTBOROUGH BOULt,VARD IMPROVEMENT
JUNIPERO SERRA BCULEVARD TO SKYLINE BOULEVARD.
RESOLVED, by the City ]ouncil of the City of South
San Francisco, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council
and published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined
and declared on the 30th day of ~.~.~h,r , 19 69
for the-work to be done and the improvement to be made as
described and specified:
WESTBOROUGH BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT
JUNIPER0 SERRA BOULEVARD TO SKYLINE BOULEVARD
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS )RDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby, reject all of said pro-
posals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract for doing the work and improvements and
furnishing the materials, s'~pplies and equipment necessary
therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, at the unit
prices named in their bid to wit:
L. C. Smith Company
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to
make and enter into a written contract with said successful
bidder, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of
the City.
3. That funds shall be encumbered as set forth on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
I hereby certify that ~he foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a reqular meeting
held on the 3rd day of November , 1969 ,
by the following vote:
