CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AGREEING TO AMENDMENT TO AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO AND THE OOUNTY OF SAN MATE0 AND
OTHER CITIES WITHIN SAID COUNTY, ENTITLED
"CIVIL DEFENSE AND DISASTER. AGREEMENT, SAN
MATE0 OPERATIONAL AREA CIVIL DEFENSE AND
DISASTER ORGANIZATION."
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the City of South San Francisco hereby
agrees that the Agreement between the City of South San
Francisco and the County of gan Mateo and other cities within
said County entitled "Civil Defense and Disaster Agreement,
San Mateo Operational Area Civil Defense and Disaster Organiza-
tion'' be amended as follows:
Paragraph B thereof be amended by adding:
"6 The voting members of the Area Disaster Council
shall be paid a quarterly attendance fee of fifty dollars for
meetings attended, not to exceed a maximum of two hundred
dollars a fiscal year. In the absence of a regular voting
member the fee may be paid tm a duly qualified (Mayor, Council-
man, or Supervisor) substitute member designated by a jurisdiction."
Subparagraph D 1 shall be amended to read:
"1 There is hereby created the position of Area
Coordinator of Civil Defense and Disaster, hereinafter referred
to as Area Coordinator."
