CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
'TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF THE BOTIEFF
PARCEL FOR PARK AND DPEN SPACE ~PURP~0SES.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the City ~anager having obtained an appraisal
of the parcel designated as the "Botieff Parcel," which is
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto,
and presented said appraisal to the City Council and filed
a copy thereof with the City Clerk, and the City Council desir-
ing to purchase said parcel for park and open space purposes
for a consideration not exceeding Seventy-four Thousand Eight
Hundred Ninety-four Dollars and Ten Cents ($74,894.10), the
Council does hereby authorize the City Manager to negotiate
and execute said agreement with the owners of said parcel for
the purchase thereof for a consideration not to exceed Seventy-
four Thousand Eight Hundred .~inety-four Dollars and Ten Cents
($74,894.10), which sum plus closing costs in the sum of
Seven Hundred Two Dollars an~ Seventeen Cents ($702.17) total-
ing Seventy-five Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-six Dollars and
Twenty-seven Cents ($?5,596.2?) is to be deposited in escrow
with Title Insurance and Trust Company, 359 E1 Camino Real,
South San Francisco, California, and he is further authorized
to issue any and all necessary escrow instructions to complete
said purchase and obtain a grant deed to said parcel free and
clear of all liens and encumbrances except Exceptions 1, 3
and 4 shown on Title Insurance and Trust Company report
SSF #394731 dated August 15, 1969.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular' meeting
