A RESOLUTION OF -NTENTION TO MAKE
CHANGES AND ~0DIFICATIONS
CABOT, CABOT & FORBES INDUSTRIAL PARK
UNIT NO. 2-A
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, California, that the public interest, con-
venience and necessity require and that it is the intention
of said Council to make the following changes and modifica-
tions in the improvements, assessment and in the proceedings
being conducted pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 4613
adopted by this Council on January 16, 1967, as follows,
to wit:
1. Increase the total assessment from $1,750,000 to
$ 2~157,000 and apportion and distribute said assessment
as increased according to benefits.
2. Eliminate the construction of all improvements
which are not already completed and in place and which are
proposed to be located outside of the boundaries of the
proposed final map of Cabot, Cabot & Forbes Unit No. 2
Subdivision, other than the proposed improvements in Pt.
San Bruno Boulevard, and. other than that portion of "Future
Oyster Point Boulevard", as described in that certain Agree-
ment Concerning Placement and Construction of Road, dated
september 10, 1969, by and between the City and Cabot, Cabot
& Forbes California Properties, Inc., which extends from
FOrbes Boulevard northerly to Oyster Point Boulevard as
it now exists.
3. Increase the maximum rate of interest on bonds
to be issued to represent unpaid assessments therein from
6% to 7% per annum.
4. Amend Section 19 of said Resolution of Intention
to provide as follows:
"19. If any excess shall be realized from the
assessment, it shall be 'Ased, in such amounts as the
Council may determine, in accordance with the provi-
sions of law for the maintenance of the improvements."
The Engineer shall make said changes by filing an amend-
ment or supplement to the Engineer's Report.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVIEN that Monday, the 2nd day of
March , 1970, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., in the
regular meeting place of said Council, Council Chambers,
City Hall, South San Francisco, California, are hereby fixed
as the time and place when and where said Council will con-
sider the matter of making said changes and modifications
and hearing all protests and persons interested therein.
The City Clerk of said City shall cause a copy of this
resolution to be published once in the Enterprise-Journal,
a newspaper of general circulation published ~in said City
and the paper in which the Notice of Improvement under said
Resolution of Intention was published, and to be mailed to
all property owners where assessments are increased, said
publication to be at least ten days before said day of hear-
ing and said mailing to be at least twenty days prior to
said hearing date.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held this 2nd cay of February, 1970, by the following
vote:
